Friday Monkey wine

Tasting Notes
S avourycharacter to the nose with upfront confectionery fruit. Exhibits a palate with amix of blackberry fruit and spicy oak. Good tannin andlength. All fruit was machine-harvested in the cool of the night and freerun juice was clarified immediately. After fermentation the majority of thisblend was aged on lees to soften the palate and introduce some richness to themouthfeel. This is a blend of two classic grape varieties. Semillon, a freshcrisp and dry variety with grassy and herbaceous flavours, blends very well withChardonnay which is soft, peachy, full bodied and rich in flavour.

Cellaring Potential
Drink now, although with the screw cap wine closure I am confident the wine will live to be full and rich for at least the next 5 years.

Suggested Food
The warm alcohol finish will enhance recipes with Roast beef, Lamb, Mussels, Turkey and Venison
